My name is Felicia Hagen, I am a 29 year old mother of 3 beautiful little girls all aged 5 and under. When Covid-19 struck, along with all of the uncertainty that it brought I decided I needed to do something to make my little family a lot more self sufficient. With a lot of help from my family, I embarked on the adventure that has been turning our home on an acre into a homestead complete with 6 nigerian dwarf goats, 30 chickens, a 120 pound german shepherd, and a garden where we plan to grow fresh food. Now I’m welcoming you to follow along on this adventure in the hopes that whether you’re a mother in search of some advice from someone who has been in your shoes, someone looking to embark on your own adventure with goats, chickens, or any other kind of animal that finds its way into our home, a homeowner looking for inspiration, or anyone in between…I will be able to help you out in some small way.
